I put a set of dragbars on my 96 savage. You do need to add extended risers or they will hit your tank. Even with taller risers, it takes careful positioning of the bars to not hit the tank. You also have to file off small knobs on the switch housings in order to fit. You'll understand when you take them off. The drag bars do look cool and improve riding position in my opinion.
